One of the male jurors in the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial has spoken out about their experience for the first time. The juror appeared on Good Morning America, opting to remain anonymous, and shared what influenced the verdict in Depp's favour. He explained that even though the jury felt both Heard and Depp were mutually abusive, Heard's team failed to prove Depp was physically abusive and they ultimately found the latter to be more "believable". "But to rise to the level of what she was claiming, there wasn't enough or any evidence that really supported what she was saying."

He criticised Heard's testimony and her constant eye contact with the jury, saying: "The crying, the facial expressions that she had, the staring at the jury. All of us were very uncomfortable.

"She would answer one question and she would be crying, and two seconds later she would turn ice cold. Some of us used the expression 'crocodile tears'."

Regarding Depp's testimony, he said: "He just seemed a little more real in terms of how he was responding to questions. His emotional state was very stable throughout."

In the end, he said, the jury simply "followed the evidence".

It comes as Heard's first sit down interview since losing the defamation suit is set to air on Friday with NBC.
