According to Lincolnshire Live, a wildlife expert added some reassurance to the story for the rest of us. It was said that spiders indigenous to the country don’t possess the venom that can cause serious harm to humans, and that this could have been instead an allergic reaction. Surely this includes Ireland too, right?
So if you do find yourself in a similar predicament, seek help and medical assistance as soon as possible, and remember to wear your shoes and long trousers through woodlands and grasslands as there are plenty of creepy crawlies scurrying about.
