The ‘most famous job in Ireland’ has just opened up

We would have assumed that the most famous job in Ireland was the President, but it turns out it has been claimed by someone else. The folks down in Blarney are saying that they have an opening for the most famous job and it's for the 'Keeper of the Blarney Stone'. They are looking for someone who will be able to hold people as they kiss the famous stone on a daily basis. They've listed some essentials for the role; you must have the 'gift of the gab', be able to hold people as they lean back to kiss the stone, ensure all visitors have an enjoyable visit and be energetic and enthusiastic. Posting about the job on their Facebook page they said:

"The most famous job in Ireland - "Keeper of the Blarney Stone" required!!!! Blarney Castle & Gardens are looking for a person who obviously has the 'gift of the gab' themselves and who will be able to hold people as they kiss the Blarney Stone. They will be based at the main attraction at Blarney Castle and have a very important job ensuring that all visitors have an enjoyable day out! Must be very charismatic and have a friendly manner. Must be energetic and enthusiastic as the job is physically demanding. Good at liaising with staff and working as a team."
