One family petting zoo had a strange delivery last week amongst all the baby goats. They found there was one extra surprise rather than just a boy or girl. They had a geep.
Butterfly, whose mother is a sheep and father is a pygmy goat, was born last Sunday at My Petting Zoo in Scottsdale.
The furry creature has the feet and face of a goat but the wool and tail of a sheep.
Although the zoo is currently closed to protect the animals from the soaring temperatures, Butterfly has already become an online sensation after the owners proudly posted pictures and a video of the geep to their Facebook page:
Excited for the new addition to the family, owner Priscilla Montola said she’ll be slowly introducing Butterfly to visitors on the farm:
“She’s just a baby. We just want to give her some time. I just never expected something like this to happen.”
