Add us as a preferred source on Google »Met Éireann have issued Status Orange wind warnings for the entire country, as well as red warnings in the West ahead of Storm Darragh.
The alerts have been published as the storm is set to bring heavy rain and strong winds.
A Status Yellow wind warning will be in place nationwide from 3pm today (Friday), changing to Status Orange at 8pm for Connacht and Munster, and 10pm for Leinster, Cavan, Donegal, and Monaghan.
Clare, Galway and Mayo have been issued Status Red warnings from 10pm tonight, with Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo also on red from 11pm, until the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Met Éireann said possible impacts of the storm include fallen trees, damage to power lines, very difficult travel conditions, damage to temporary structures and wave overtopping.
Storm Darragh will bring very strong and gusty northwest winds.
The weather warnings come after the UK Met Office officially named Storm Darragh yesterday.
Speaking on RTÉ's Today with Claire Byrne, Met Éireann meteorologist Brandon Creagh said is it to be expected that Atlantic coastal counties will be the first to bear the brunt of the storm.
He also said the west of the country would get some heavy onshore waves, which could cause coastal flooding.
