A Ryanair Flight Has Landed Safely After A Mid-Air Emergency Was Declared

A Ryanair plane that was headed for Palma, Mallorca earlier today has returned to Manchester airport following the declaration of a mid-air emergency shortly after take-off. The Manchester Evening News report flight FR3445 began to circle in the air shortly after departing Manchester Airport, with a bird strike said to be the most likely caused of a mid-air incident. Footage of the plane in the skies above Manchester appeared on Twitter this evening, and while the plane has landed safely at the airport, Ryanair have yet to issue a comment on the incident.

Reports suggest that the plane has since landed safely back at Manchester Airport; Ryanair has yet to comment on the incident.
