Commuters travelling from and to work will have noticed ongoing travel delays and public transport disruptions in Dublin amid further protests in the capital.
The disruptions follow a night of disturbance at the Citywest Hotel, which saw more than 500 protestors take to the Saggart area, per Extra.ie.
Footage shared online shows protestors clashing with members of An Garda Síochána, with a garda van set alight.
The disruptions in Dublin include significant Luas and Dublin Bus service suspensions between Belgard and Saggart. In addition, several Irish Rail services between Belfast and Dublin are also affected, with some services cancelled or limited to Drogheda, requiring bus transfers to Dublin Connolly.
