Ugly Betty star Ashley Beesley’s husband has died

Ugly Betty and Catastrophe star Ashley Beesley's husband Terence has died.

The 60-year-old was found unresponsive in their family home in Somerset at the end of November. An ambulance was called and arrived within 10 minutes but it was too late to save him. A spokesperson for the actress confirmed the news with The Sun, saying:

“Ashley is devastated and respectfully asks for privacy at this extremely sad and difficult time. It is with great sadness that I can confirm that Terence passed away at the end of November."

The couple met in London in 1999 when they worked on a stage production of King Lear together. They married in 2007 and welcomed their first child together in 2009. Ashley is best known for playing Christina McKinney in the US sitcom Ugly Betty and currently stars in Catastrophe.
